The user section on Fund Filer is the place where user details are kept and access to the service controlled.

Users and user levels

Fund Filer allows up to four users per account.

User levels have been created to enable controlled access to your Fund Filer account in line with your preferences.

The three user levels are:

treasurer

A ‘treasurer’ is a master user with access to all areas of the account. It is a powerful access level in which all the data can be seen, other users appointed and repayment claims made.

Try not to have too many at this level and ensure that anyone who has it understands the importance of discretion and care in what they are doing.

assistant

The assistant level is also very useful although not as wide-ranging as a treasurer. Assistants can see all the data but cannot access the set-up area or make repayment claims.

recorder

Recorders only have access to the donation entry areas but can’t see donor identities. This level is very useful for data input by number, for example when using numbered envelopes.

A further feature of this level is the ability to create donor records for one-off donations. We introduced this by popular request to enable recorders to input visitor gifts of the type frequently given by envelope.

The recorder is able to create the donor record for that donor and record the donation, but not otherwise access the donor, reports or repayment claim areas.
