Connected charities are defined as those which are more than 50 per cent controlled by the same person or people and are engaged in the same or similar activities. See our guide to Gift Aid for further information.
To set up a connected charity on Fund Filer, select ‘connected charities’ under ‘setup’ from the logged in home page. Click the ‘add a connected charity’ button and complete the details requested. HMRC required:
- charity name
- The charity’s HMRC reference
